Victoria Falls, the smoke that thunders, is one of $Victoria Falls, the smoke that thunders, is one of the worlds largest waterfalls but was a bit underwhelming in our opinion. From the ground the spray is so intense you can't see very much and at the closest point it's like you are in a shower, we were drenched. From the air you get a much better view of what the falls look like as the Zambezi river plummets in a single vertical drop into a fracture in the plateau. The drop varies from 260ft to 354ft. The spray typically rises over 400 meters obscuring much of the falls from view. It was an interesting experience but not quite what we had envisioned.
